Chameleons
I have been everything from a card carrying Communist (without the card) to an Anarcocapitalist (cards not included) and almost all the nuances in between. I have held such beliefs both strongly and weakly, sometimes with great enthusiasm and at others with out much care in the world.
I have lived as a pauper student, without money for food (I spent it on other pleasures!) and I have lived in the world of business, operating in economies ranging from advanced-structured to ones a little more laissez-faire, where rules & ethics are looked at more like nice-to-have accessories, than anything that needs to be followed. What’s more I have read a fair amount of history and academic analysis from a number of different points of view and motivations.
What I found is that humans live in communities (big surprise!). How we act and organize ourselves is generally studied under the rubric of Politics and Economics. Politics focuses more on systems of power and governance. Economics focuses upon the exchange and trade of ‘goods’. Furthermore, we have a metaphysics and ethics which form into ‘churches’ (or whatever you want to call your religious hangout) and other cultural institutions. There are various other systems by which we categorize / analyze the world. Science, a modern religion, comes to mind.
But all the books in the world won’t teach you one thing.
“Those who can, do; those who can’t teach”
This is not a slight against ‘teachers’, though it could be. I always had beef with the education industry.

What I actually mean by this, is in reality, True Power is chameleon-like in its operations. It hides in plain view but acts out of all conscious oversight.
You will not find Truth in any book, and you will rarely find it being spoken by any living human. Which is why the books of dead authors are so popular, by the way. It is hard to stake someone already six feet under, though attempts are made all the same!
One living author I can definitely recommend is Curtis Yarvin (aka Mencius Moldbug) and his latest book ‘Grey Mirror’, which is being written as I speak and released via substack (the same system I am using). You can get his book in byte-sized emails, with weekly updates. Here is an excerpt from the latest post:
This ambiguity causes political friction between libertarian utilitarians and liberal utilitarians. Liberals observe that taking a benjamin from a billionaire and giving it to a bum creates an enormous increase in utility. Libertarians observe that this is, like, totally, stealing, and stealing causes pervasive damage to the utility-creating economy.
So aptly put and it sums up about 99% of the field of Economics. If you like that kind of economy in writing then subscribe to him. You can thank me later.
Dark Suffusion

The reality is, ‘Power’ in its various forms, Economic, Political, Religious, etc… is like ‘Energy’ in physics.
We all studied that ‘Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can just change from one form to another’, or something like that in school.
What they didn’t tell you, is that physics has discovered, au contraire, that there may be so much energy hiding in empty space that our ordinary concepts no longer really matter. The universe and everything about you is suffused with it. Practically dripping to the brim in it.
Space itself is being created at a prodigious rate, the universe is expanding and energy is popping in and out of existence every micro-micro-milli-nano-second in a dance that is best described as omniscient.
And so it is with all our institutions and all our categorizations, which are mostly 19th Century or older monoliths. Like physics, we started to study the human world and categorized what we observed. Philip likes to pray, Adam likes to build boats, Alice produces apples and Khalid ruled an empire. We then categorized and studied each of these interactions in detail, some people stitched these ideas into larger and larger conglomerates, which then became fields of study. All the while, real power was ignored. Writing about Caesar honestly, in Rome, was probably not a good idea and we have this same truth in operation today.
We noticed that some things repeat or are repeatable. Seasons come and go, fertilizer helps food production, electricity can be channeled in specific ways, etc… The study of what is repeatable got honed into Science. Science is masterful in ignoring real power for it has ignored the elephant in the room, our consciousness, for as long as it can. Most Scientists, still deny it, if you haven’t noticed. They also ignore who funds their studies and the intentions behind it, with equal zeal.
What we failed to notice is the ‘dark energy’ of human cognition & interaction, that which actually drives the majority of what goes on. This is the Vikid Energy.
And yes, everything in this blog is ‘Vikid’!
To notice this Energy we have to let go of all the ‘truth’ that we have learnt and learn to live in a new way. For it isn’t written in the books.
A good start is to subscribe ;-)
This dark energy has never been measured, it is possible that just like in real physics, it cannot be measured or better still, won’t be measured.
The only way you are going to notice it is to ‘take your head out of your ass’, so to speak, for it cannot be taught in books or online blog posts.
As an exception, one definite access point to noticing this kind of energy can be found in Douglas Harding’s book, On Having No Head. I would highly recommend this to any avid reader here. It’s short and gets to the point pretty quickly.
But the main thing, which is harder to do than say, and harder to say than do, in a weirdly contradictory way, is to:
Forget everything you know, and just do.
and that’s,

The Vikid Truth
