Jexi
The adventure began at 3 am, by 6.30 I was in the airport. Immigration was a breeze, we were through everything and in the lounge no more than 25 mins later.

The plane was practically empty and as we took off, I took a chance with a goofy sounding movie called Jexi. It’s about a nerdy phone addicted dude who is a total loser. One day his phone breaks and he has to get a new one. Unbeknownst to him, it has a very advanced form of AI. From that point on it’s pure comedy! I laughed so loud, on so many occasions, I had people in the plane giving me that look. You know that look!
Take it as a Vikid recommendation.
The rest of the journey was relaxing except for my travel companion’s lovely smelling steak and the fact he demolished two deserts in front of me! The aromas on the plane were simply irresistible, it was like we had Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsey in the back competing on Master Chef. That’s what 18 days of not eating does to airplane food. You should try it!
Côte d'Azur
We arrived in Paris for transit and once again immigration was a breeze, the officer barely looked up at me and we were through to our next leg down to Nice.

The picture does no justice. It’s simple beautiful and as we descended closer and closer, I felt enveloped by the beautiful sunshine, the golden reflections and the deep blue. It was as if I was looking into my soul.
The adventure is everything I hoped for. The perfect place to do my last days of the fast. Though passing by french baguettes, soufflés and butter without dying inside is testing the limits of my resolve. I simply love French food and have to make do with looking and smelling it only, sad…
Pool Meditation
After we got settled in, I decided to go for a swim and after getting a good stretch, I had the idea to try a pool meditation.

It’s done just as it looks. At first as your head sinks on each breath, almost closing the airways, there is a tendency to panic. Survival instincts take over. But you just have to ease into it, let go of all tension, let go of fear and open your awareness to all the aquatic gravity defying sensations of floating effortlessly.
Magic happens after that…
That’s all folks,
The Vikid Truth
Cool adventure you're on, and quite inspiring (the discipline, insights, and more). Thanks for sharing, and wishing you the best as it continues 👊🏽🌈
