Some liken it an Octopus, an alien brain with it’s many tentacles of power, others say it resembles a spider, a multi-eyed, multi-legged and multi-fanged monster that weaves an intricate web.
Those with a more mechanistic view, liken it to a Matrix, a vast array of interconnected cells under the spell of an Algorithm. Some see it as having a mind of its own (AI), others see it as being engineered by a select group.
The religious minded think of the Fallen Angel, with his pantheon of monstrous creatures.
Contemplatives compare it to a insatiable vacuous hunger, a limitless desire, a black hole rapaciously bent on the consumption of everything.
But the real question is, are these people right, regardless of whether you agree with their particular flavor of answer?
Who Rules the World or is Chaos the ultimate arbiter?
From what I see, most people to the extent they think at all, believe the world to be basically a form of anarchy. Independent actors in competition with each other. A plethora of Nations, Empires and Supra-National Bodies. A loosely held world order with competing governmental, corporate and institutional entities vying for power, where incompetence and greed are a far greater factor than any coordinated effort by a secret, unseen cabal.
General questions I get asked are, who are they? What is their motive? How do they operate? How can such a big secret be kept? Etc… etc…
To which, I never give a straight answer. It’s like trying to explain Gravity to a prehistoric, pointless and dangerous. He will use that stone, wrapped around your head, to show you what gravity is…
Gravity whatever it is, hasn’t actually been found either. Drop an apple, I dare you. You will see an effect, but you won’t find Gravity. Some dude with funny hair got famous writing equations about it early last century but those equations are highly suspect and seem to indicate that 96% of universe is hidden. It also doesn’t fit in with the rest of physics, like **ALL** the rest of physics. Yet, it rules the universe. Hmmm…
If that isn’t Occult, then please explain to me what is.
The same goes with Mind. No one can find it, yet you have one, don’t you dear reader? Or is it an illusion? Need some proof on that do you? Do you need to understand the motives? All of evolution? You need the BBC or CNN to tell you first? Do you need Neil deGrass Tyson and Richard Dawkins to make a Netflix documentary on it? Joe Rogan? Graham Hancock? New York Times? A Uni degree?
Or can you believe your lying eyes and that God given innate function called Common Sense?
So who does rule the world? I contend that you only have to open your eyes to see. Some people call it the Third Eye, because it a type of vision. However, new lenses, telescopes and microscopes won’t help you. (Neither will your friendly neighborhood Guru). Some call it Faith, because it doesn’t really work with proof and is not borne out of analysis. The word ‘faith’, unfortunately, is polluted by centuries of monkeys, in long robes, using it as a power tactic to create their own world order.
Open your eyes to see.
