The Sermon of The Vikid Truth
Can Awareness Save the Day?
Being rebellious came naturally to The Vikid Truth. It started when he was young, if anyone told him to do something that didn’t make sense, he had a tendency to either not do it or do the opposite.
And so it went for many years. And many mistakes were made, for Vikid hadn’t yet realized that he doesn’t know everything and on balance and by nature we, humans, usually believe in things that don’t make any sense at all.
So he studied and studied. He grew in confidence. It seemed there was so much wrong with the world and so many causes that needed rebels. He became a rebel with a purpose. A rebel with a cause.
But we will cut to the chase here. This isn’t a novel or story for bedside consumption. It finally dawned upon him that he had spent all that time studying didn’t lead to certainty. All his causes were defunct and his rebelliousness had led to nothing but misery to him and everyone around him. Thus he became a rebel without a cause.
But that still left a rather tricky problem. What to do about all the problems he saw around the world? And what about those pesky authorities who were constantly telling him what he could and couldn’t do?
This had been a problem of the ages.
When some realizations came upon him and he became a preacher man.
This is his Sermon…
a) Almost everyone is wrong about almost everything, almost all of the time.
b) except in rare cases where they have limited domain expertise. Like perhaps a French potato farmer knows something about potato farming in the village he lives in and that too in the decades he’s alive. Move him out of that village or time, give him another crop and the chances of buggery rise astronomically.
c) Authorities are made up of people.
d) Their main skill is to gain “Authority”, the higher they go, the less they probably know about the field in which they are the Authority.
Thus, for example, The Director General of the WHO is very very good at becoming a Director General and a Warlord Apparatchik in his previous position (Check it out). He possibly knows nothing at all about health and couldn’t care less. (True Story)
e) Rules that have lasted the test of time are safer to follow.
For example. Eat real food. Not to much and not too often.
Examples not to follow. Veganism and The Carnivore Diet. These are relatively new ideas developed by activists based on bullshit studies and commercial interests.
Behind every new idea is a bullshit study. If you read something that says, “Studies say…”, run for the hills.
f) Consequently the newer rules and systems are probably wrong.
(You May be free to call The Vikid Truth a Luddite at this juncture, he will not be offended.)
g) This also goes for Causes. There is a great chance that the cause being championed is erroneous at the core and the solutions will manifest damages that are unforeseen. The damages are likely to be huge.
For example see Climate Change, formerly known as Global Warming, formerly known as Global Cooling and formally know as The Sky is Falling. The solutions are Devastating for Life of Earth as is untrammeled Industrialization. The balance is in between.
h) The Rebels and Activists are deeply flawed too.
See St. Greta of Thunberg, who was recently awarded a Doctorate in Theology. Well deserved as she is the rising Cardinal of the latest Religion. (True story)
i) However, this leaves a pesky problem. If everyone is wrong about everything, if there are really no leaders to follow and the problems which plague the Earth are multiplying by the hour then what is it we should do?
It turns out there is such a solution. Not an algorithm without a flaw, but a clear course of action and guiding principle.
Learn deeply about everything. (As much as you can). Learn but don’t believe. There is a massive difference.
It turns out that sunlight is the best disinfectant and the best vitamin. Simply being aware, changes everything. Like the Quantum Double Slit experiment. Merely looking changes the results. So your awareness will change the world.
Listen to every side of the story. Yes, even those pesky guys who are deeply flawed and have been labeled dangerous or evil.
By listening to them you can learn many things, like what their motivations are, why and how they think their solution is the best. Who they listened to before them. Listening to who you think is an idiot is the greatest gift and almost no one is doing it. Even Vikid struggles with this.
Mostly stay away from Authorities. It’s generally not necessary to break their rules. Just stay away. Ignore all guidelines and all new initiatives.
Do age old, time verified things.
Like when you’re sick just rest. Drink lots of water and stay away from the Doctor. It will solve almost every disease. Eat an apple every other day.
Historically, Doctors have killed the most people outside wars. It is true even today and will be even truer in the near future. And you’re going to find this hard to believe and not many main stream statistics or narratives will support this claim, for good reason. For Awareness changes everything.
Follow your intuition. It grows with each passing day.
Mostly don’t do anything. Just watch the wheels go round and round.
Jokers like Greta, Bill Good for Nothing Gates, Putin, Biden, Trump, Trudeau, Yellen, Tedros, Musk, etc. will come and go. Watch them keenly. Learn. Just don’t do anything. Don’t follow them, don’t fight them.
Do things you are good at or enjoy, have learned from a bonafide master or are currently learning.
Put food on the table ethically.
Take care of friends and family. Don’t interfere too much in their business. Just be with them and have a laugh.
Learn to love your enemy.
Vikid believed if you did such things, which is not doing very much at all in fact, then most of the worlds problems would end.
To summarize…
Learn about everything. Awareness changes everything. It is the highest truth. It is the ultimate action without action. Do what your good at, enjoy or are learning. Put food on the table ethically. Don’t follow authority unnecessarily. Love thy neighbor. Follow your intuition.
Most importantly, screw anybody or anything fomenting wars, just or not.
They are demons.
