The Many Faces of Vikid
On Building Genuine Character and a Heavenly Meeting with God and Drake.
Vikid had been writing profusely, weeks upon weeks, the words just flowed but finally was he running out of material?
He had spent a considerable amount of time learning about Near Death Experiences (NDE’s). It was a topic worth expressing and exploring but first he wanted to have a few words on God.
The night before was glorious 3-0 for his team at the World Cup. The beer tasted good and the mood was better. Everyone was laughing and having a blast.
Several years earlier, on a trip to the desert, he met a nice gentleman and spoke of esoteric things to him. It was late in the night, beside a fire, after the troop had gone to sleep, with several glasses of whiskey to add the required spice. One glass too many, if you know what I mean.
He spoke to this gentleman about the time he met God. Yeah, when it happened, Vikid was equally he surprised as he was an atheist at the time. Go figure.
The heavenly meeting started well, time stopped, and Gods words had the weight of Eternal Truth. Frankly, it’s indescribable. It wasn’t just words. It’s “being” itself that comes through like an Opera. Vibration, light, love, tragedy, tears, joy, eternity. All mixed in a wonderful symphony.
He thought his hair would go white, like Moses on the mountain top or that his soul would exit the body. The energy surge wasn’t possible to contain. So, in the end Vikid asked God to stop as he couldn’t process what was happening. He put God on pause and requested another meeting.
Imagine the hubris in that. Now it wasn’t clear when, where or if the meeting would take place again.
Better luck next time, dimwit.
Funny thing and it happens quite often, he never met the gentleman again.
Is it something he said?
That’s what Vikid and his friends were laughing about, under a giant screen displaying the football. We were to go out again, this time Vikid was asked not to frighten anyone away.
Then one of the friends joked,
“I’m a Atheist”
“So which God do you believe in? Zeus, Thor or Jupiter?”
Vikid had been there before, before that fateful day. He knew what the guy was saying because he had essentially been the same.
For Vikid it was no longer about belief, and all descriptions were equally invalid. There was no description. What our ancient fathers and mothers did, was to convey the information, in the best way they could. They wrapped it in a story that could pass down the generations. Abstract words and thinking had no chance of doing that. Now many thought the story was reality.
We are all fools, forgive them father for they know not what they do…
A book isn’t about ink and paper. In the same way, a story isn’t about the plot or its characters.
Back to the NDE.
What’s interesting about them is a very certain pattern they take. The content each time is a little different but in the end you can see it’s the same. The person is just wrapping a story around it. Because what happened is indescribable and the mind has no other option. It’s not that they are lying or doing it consciously. It’s literally the only way the brain can process the indescribable.
Vikid encourages all readers to look into that.
Anyway, so this guy describes his NDE. He meets a being, not God, not Jesus. But a guy named Drake. Drake? Seriously? Ha ha.
Though Drake says something important.
“You must be your genuine self with everyone”
What he means here is that for your soul to grow. You must be the same before a King or Slave, your banker, your father, friend or foe.
This is when Vikid realizes he has many faces.
There is one when he is on his own.
There’s another face with his closest friends.
A special mask for Business.
Another one for his wife. Still another when with her friends.
A face for School, one at the Café, one for the wonks and one for a stonk.
The number of faces is perhaps beyond counting.
We mold our characters to each situation. We put on a face, that’s the disgrace, cause God sees it all as does your soul.
You’re fooling no one.
Building Genuine Character.
One face for all Occasions.
That’s Drake’s message in the NDE encounter.
And That’s,
God is without form, it is humans that try to give the formless a form.
