The Demon of Crystallization
Water, Ice and the Theory of Action
Vikid was thinking about his political leanings, how they had changed so radically over the seasons.
When he was younger he was practically a communist and then as he grew older he went totally capitalist. Today he just wasn’t sure. These concepts didn’t make sense anymore.
In thirst he went to pour himself a glass of water but before he could drink it, the whole glass turned into a block of ice, the room went into a raging fire and out emerged a Demon of Graphite, blue flames everywhere, horrible laughter piercing through the air.
“I am the Demon of Crystallization. Your mind is misbehaving, putting Creation in question. This cannot stand. Submit to my power or I shall freeze you with my breath of iced fire.”
Vikid was unfazed, he had met demons like these before, it wasn’t his first rodeo. So he said,
“Great Demon of Crystallized Jewel, Father of Medusa, Creature so Cruel, please explain yourself so that I may make a decision.”
The room disappeared, they floated in darkness, devoid of their bodies, they were pure consciousness and then, out of the void Demon thundered,
“We are at the moment of creation, observe…”
With that there was an enormous explosion. The universe expanded with hyper-inflation. It was pure chaos, a soup of undifferentiated quantum fluctuations and then without warning, the universe started crystallization. At first nebulous clouds of subatomic gas and light, then suns of enormous size formed into galaxies. The passage of time couldn’t be counted because of Relativity. The rest, as we say, is history…
As Vikid looked upon Creation, the Demon started to speak.
“You see, without my powers of crystalline. You would be a plamsatic soup of unending radiation.”
“Give up your confusion and pick a side, I care not which, the mind must settle on Truth or Civilization dies.”
Vikid, consider these words for what could be forever, time in this dimension was more like dream fever.
Finally Vikid said,
“Great Demon, Guardian of Ice and Fire, how can I settle when you hold Truth a prisoner. You have frozen her. Truth must be set free, she cannot be captured within a crystal. One day the universe that you’ve held hostage will break free of this manipulation.”
“It is a great error of modern society. They are looking for a Grand Unified Theory. A final equation. A Crystallized Answer in symbolic form, to tame the ultimate question. What you show me is a scientific story that you concocted. Grand Illusionist, what for example was happening before said ‘Big Bang’?”
“What exactly crystallized? It must have had substance? The universe is large, where did all the stuff come from if nothing is created or destroyed?”
“If creation from nothing is real, then who is to say that the whole universe doesn’t pop up in each passing moment, fresh and new, this story is just as consistent.”
The demon snorted a mist, Vikid started to shiver. There wouldn’t be much time till he completely frosted over.
“I look to the world, every generation they settle on some new Truth and demons come out to destroy free thinking spirits. Last generation they told us the Universe was in a Steady State, then they said it would all end in a Big Crunching Fate, today the latest flavor of ice scream is Accelerated Expansion for Eternity.”
“The same donkeys were saying the Earth would face a big freeze in the 1970’s and now they say we’re flaming a CO2 fire, that the world will end in the 2030’s. I’ve looked at their idiotic equations and models. The only thing that’s settled is their corruption and dark forces funding Extinction Rebellion.”
“Demon. The heart & mind are inherently free, it’s only only fear that causes it to freeze. Because we believe that creation needs to rest on solid grounds. However Creation is causeless, it needn’t be bound.”
“The story of Civilization is false for a start, we were not caveman who discovered farming by accident, our history is more complicated than such a simple incident. And subsequent stories of Communism and Capitalism are based on philosophers who knew not what they were talking. Marx was known for hatred and devil worship yet he wrote about sharing and kinship. Adam Smith wrote the Wealth of Nations yet he didn’t even have kids, the True Wealth of Generations. Is this your idea of a joke? These things are not taught in Universities. Each time we settle on these systems they fail, due to their own inner contradictions.”
“Today we have built an empire on the All Mighty Dollar but it’s sustained by decree and lives electronically on Silicon Crystal. Pure fiat based on fear caused by mass media - nothing real - a Clothless Emperor. The Shepherd is losing control of his flock so he is trying to pivot to Central Bank Digital Currency and totalitarian control of humanity. ”
The demon laughed,
“Your theories are just waffle. People in charge need to make policies and businesses need to build products based on scientific understanding. You offer nothing but mystical mumbo jumbo. Prepare for a frozen death and suspension in limbo. You will look good on my mantle piece!”
With that he took a great breath and unleashed a storm of extermination. To his surprise, Vikid remained unfrozen. He said,
“Thank you Dear Hellion, you have set me free. The crystallization process needs fear to complete.”
“You talk of policies and products but these can be created without giving up our hearts”
“The Earth has stood for billions of years as have my ancestors. The problem is not theories but our blind belief in the demons that sell them.”
“Today we are creating products without value, most of them end up in garbage dumps after little use. We enact policies that will guarantee poverty & failure. All because we believe the television.”
“Ancient wisdom has been discounted and forgotten. The answer is not another theory but to follow your heart and inner wisdom. Answers will appear as they are needed. Trust in the Spirit and your ability to hear it. Someone great once advised, ask and you shall receive. I intend to head it.”
“People just want simple answers. To tell them which way to vote, what clothes to wear and which war to support.”
“However The Vikid Truth was sent here to give another message. As Krishna said on the greatest battleground, There are no final answers, only actions.
This is The Principle of Karma Yoga also known as The Law of Action”
“Real action is what you do each day, each second.
Do you treat the people around you with love & respect?
Or do you support companies that disrespect peoples privacy?
That includes which search engine you use, the music you listen to, the food that you eat and who you try to cheat with interest & taxes.
Who you try to inject with untested medicine. Did you stand with them when they didn’t want it?
Do you listen to other points of view or dismiss them as phoo phoo?
Each action speaks of peace or destruction.
Each human heart must look at its own volition and make daily decisions, discarding misleading prophesies. Don’t look at your neighbor, as Jesus once said, remove the plank in your own eye, before trying to correct another’s.”
“Science is great but it isn’t everything. It’s belittles and ignores the most important things. It’s algorithm is blind to love, joy and human experience. Society built on science alone will resemble an Artificial Mechanized Monstrosity.”
The Demon was all out of ice, he started to thaw, changing to an Angel of Light.
“Dear Vikid you have freed me from eons of enslavement in a frozen land of damnation. Based on my own foolishness I became The Demon of Crystallization.”
“Now my free spirit will enter the hearts of all humanity. The endless fighting for nothing shall end. We shall all ascend.”
As suddenly as it started, Vikid found himself staring into a glass of water. He took a large gulp and felt strangely satisfied, he smiled, he just didn’t know why…
And that was,
The Vikid Truth.
